propvn.com ("we", "our") is operated as a personal project focused on Vietnam property rentals for expats. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights.

What we collect

  • Contact request data (when you submit our concierge request form): your WhatsApp number, your rental request description, and optionally your name.
  • Automatic context data: the page URL you submitted from, the listing you referenced (if any), UTM campaign parameters if present, browser user-agent, and a one-way hash of your IP address for abuse prevention. We do not store your raw IP.
  • Cookies and local storage: a small flag to remember you have seen our request widget, so we do not show it repeatedly. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Why we collect it

  • To reply to your rental request via WhatsApp and shortlist properties matching your needs.
  • To prevent spam and automated abuse of our contact form.
  • To improve which listings we surface for the requests we receive most.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertising networks.

Who processes it

  • propvn.com (data controller) — the site operator.
  • Supabase Inc. — database and file storage hosting.
  • Resend, Inc. — transactional email delivery to notify us of your request.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — bot-protection challenge (Turnstile) on our contact form.
  • Vercel Inc. — website hosting and edge delivery.

How long we keep it

  • Contact request data: 24 months from your last interaction, then deleted.
  • Cookies and local storage flag: 7 days rolling.

Your rights

You may at any time request that we:

  • Show you what personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct or delete your data.
  • Withdraw your consent to further contact.

Legal basis

We rely on your explicit consent (checkbox at submission) to contact you and to store your request. You can withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing done before withdrawal.

For visitors resident in Vietnam, this notice is intended to align with the Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 91/2025/QH15). For visitors resident in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this notice is intended to align with the GDPR / UK GDPR.
